Dug Trees

Instead of buying a fresh cut tree and throwing it away after Christmas, many people who need trees in their landscape choose to buy a ball and burlap tree for their Christmas tree.  The height of the tree is 18-24" shorter than a cut tree to make room for the root ball.  These trees do well when acclimated (moving the tree to the garage for a few days or outside at the start of a warm winter week) to outside temperatures rather than abruptly moving the tree from 72 inside to 25 degrees outside.   For a planting guide click here.

Norway Spruce, Blue Spruce and White Pine for dug trees are favorites among people using their landscaping tree for Christmas.  See our Price page for more information.
